Stone Circles, Iron Age Forts, early Christian chapels and tower houses are to be found throughout the region and almost all are free to visit. We have a great interest in Archaeology so can tell you about the “out of the way” places to visit. Since 2009 Galloway has been home to the UK’s first Dark Sky Park.
